Diana has been working in clinical psychology and counselling for several years. Diana’s areas of treatment experience include mood disorders (e.g., bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder), anxiety disorders (e.g., panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress, generalized anxiety, specific phobia, social phobia), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), relationship problems, existential crisis, self-esteem problems, concentration difficulties, quality of life and balanced life style, dependence and parental guidance.
Diana offers empirically based-therapy with a primarily clinical behaviour analytic approach, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Diana values therapeutic relationships and working on having a meaningful life, working towards taking effective actions guided by your deepest values and in which you are fully present and engaged. This is by working on psychological barriers, in the form of unpleasant and unwanted “private experiences” (thoughts, images, feelings, sensations, urges, and memories) so that you can achieve what is important.
